For those die-hard Chloe’ fans, you already know about the Bracelet Bags, for those who aren’t … here’s the scoop. Chloe’ made a series of bags called the ‘Bracelet Bags’ that people either loved or hated, but either way, they were the rage and demanded attention! (And still do today!) The handle on these beauties is simply a detachable round ‘bracelet’, that you slide onto your wrist or down to the elbow allowing for a comfortable fit either way. This auction is for the EXTREMELY LIMITED and RARE Chloe’ AUBREY BRACELET handbag. The bag was made in very limited numbers and is no longer available. Directly from the 2007 runway show, this was one of the more unique designs that Chloe’ came up with! It is made of soft and supple black cowhide leather, and the bag is a ‘crescent’ shape. It measures 13” x 7” x 3” and has a 13” antique brass zipper across the top. It has a Chloe’ stamped antique brass zipper pull as well as two 6” black leather strips making it easier to open and close the bag. Each side is capped with leather covered, silver colored brass 2” tubes, iconic to the Bracelet style bags. Silver colored, circular brass hooks are attached, each embossed with the Chloe’ name, and allow for the bracelet to be removed. The 4½” wide bracelet piece is removable and is covered in half with the matching black leather. Again, defining the Bracelet Bags. The front of this beauty is the show stopper and is adorned with three styles of studs, and beads. The top third of the bag is decorated with seven rows of small golden brass colored studs, trimmed by three rows of 1” wide, matte finished, silver colored cone beads, sewn onto the leather. The bottom is trimmed with a single row of polished brass disks, measuring 1¾” wide, again sewn onto the bag. The beads jingle and dangle as the bag is worn, making its presence known to those around! Just plain fun, modern and very, very unique!
