It is made of black mink fur which has been sheared to reveal the softest part of the fur. This bag is made by CHANEL with the highest quality mink. The sheared mink fur is super soft, rich and lustrous. This style is rare, and difficult to find even in a CHANEL boutique. If sold new by CHANEL, this handbag would likely cost $8,000 - $9,000. I have taken photos both with and without flash. The photographs above were taken without flash. The photograph to the right shows the side view and was taken with a flash. This photo gives an idea of the proportion of this CHANEL handbag. The mink is warm and fluffy and will be a perfect companion on cold winter days. The bag measures:12" high11 1/2" wide4 1/2" deep The chain is Resin in a caramel color and reaches about 6 1/2" above the top edge of the handbag. The chain is long enough to wear over the shoulder. The Resin chain has the signature CHANEL leather interlacing in black, and a plaque in the center with the CHANEL logo. There is also a CHANEL logo fob attached to the chain handle.
