AUTHENTIC CHANEL GOLD MATELASSE 2.55 HANDBAG CHARM STUNNING! Description If you are looking for a fabulous and unique piece of costume jewellery, this could be for you! This is a simply a delightful item, a 100% authentic Chanel matelasse 2.55 handbag charm complete with back ticket pocket, it is completely original and has a hook attached to enable it to be clipped to whatever you desire! This piece dates from around the early '90's and was originally attached to a triple or double gold chain. Unfornately this was lost and this auction is for the charm alone. However I am including a length of very high quality goldplated chain that can be added to make this is into a wonderul necklace or possibly a belt, the chain is included as a gift. This is simply fabulous and would make a wonderful unusual present for any collector or treat for yourself! Measuring approx 1.5 ins x 1 3/8 ins to top of handle, the chain measures approx 32 ins from hook to end, it is quite a heavy weight piece especially when added to the goldtone chain. Goldtone metal jewellery is this season's must have, accessory, and this fits the bill perfectly! The charm is completely authentic but there are no markings on it, these would have been on the clasp of the original chain. The general condition of the charm is excellent, it has a little sign of wear, but this is purely due to age, the pictures do not do it justice and it appears quite rubbed in some of the pics, this is purely due to bad photography!! Amazingly there are a couple of these charm necklaces currently on US Ebay and all selling in excess of £400, this is being sold with a realistic start price and no reserve, it is a wonderful authentic vintage piece!
